About...

This Site

Welcome to Gordaen's Aberration. This site is an expression of creativity in many forms and continues to grow every day. It is the work of a single person, so some days it grows more than others. In the future, a web development section may be added, which would contain basic information about creating webpages and maybe even some scripting. Though web development is a different kind of creativity, it is still a creative process and it is a great way of sharing creations with the world. For now, most of the new content will be in the Visual Art section.

I am very open to suggestions, so please use the contact page if you have any thoughts at all (even just to say you enjoy the site). I love to hear from visitors and am always trying to improve the site. If you would like to use a photo or some text from my site, see the Acceptable Use Policy. Feel free to link to any of the pages on this site. Chances are, if I receive many visitors from your site, I'll take notice and visit your site as well.

The Author

My real name is Ian G. Clifton, but I've used "Gordaen" as an online nickname for a long time. I spent four years in the United States Air Force as a Satellite, Wideband, and Telemetry Systems Journeyman (they eventually threw "Space Systems" in there somewhere too). It was a chance to explore the world, my technology interest, and myself. I learned a lot, but one key lesson was the need to seek our dreams.

After my enlistment was complete, I began to attend a university in Washington State in order to pursue my baccalaureate and teaching certification for the secondary level. I hope to teach English and maybe some kind of technology-related course. In the mean time, I do web development for the university and I have far too many hobbies.
