Lyrics
A Political Game

Choose a man who artfully lies.
Choose the one who better vies.
Politics are a fool's game.
It will always turn out the same.
A new leader we might get.
He's like the others, I'll bet.
The truth he will not tell,
Uprisings, he will quell.
Up the taxes bit by bit,
While we all throw a fit.
Money he spends on all.
If only he'd make taxes fall.
Instead, a huge house he sleeps in.
Here he ploys and continues to sin.
I guess his job he does do,
But that, I think, we already knew.
So, to me, it is a waste of time.
Just barely worth these words of rhyme.
Our next leader will lie just the same.
Politics are a fool's game.
