Lyrics

Fate Entails Spreading Cheer

Outside, not a smile was cast.
But inside I was happy at last.
Off my anger was sent.
Finally, I was content.

I realized anger matters not.
At first, this was just a thought.
I found anger did not much,
Besides make me want to punch.

So at last I was free.
At last I could be me.
No more desire to do wrong.
My mind was filled with a song.

"Do whatever you choose.
Miss an opportunity and lose."
The song sang in my head.
My fear and doubts quickly fled.

It was a special moment for me.
Now I could really see,
Through eyes unhindered by greed.
I wanted to do a good deed.

It was poetry I had to write,
Whether in the morning or the night.
It didn't matter whether it was dark or bright.
It didn't matter if I saw by pale moonlight.

My life has a good purpose now.
I shall make something good, I vow.
My influence on the world will be great.
For, as I already know, that's my fate.

You see, some have lost hope.
Others hold on by just a rope.
Their faith I shall restore.
I will let them live once more.

Hearing my name, they'll all smile.
It will make them happy for a while.
Maybe they won't even know my name,
But all and all it's still the same.

As long as their lives are made great,
And their hearts are free of hate,
All the bad things, away, we'll take,
And what a wonderful world it will make.

You see it's not one man's problem.
It's the fault of anyone who'll rob them,
And anyone who commits a sin.
It's that evil we hold within.

You should never think bad.
Look at another and be glad,
For all the good to them you can do.
Be so great, restore their hope anew...
