Barack Obama Speech Generator

This evening we have gathered in Seattle to talk about some very pressing issues that we are going through as a people. My fellow politicians often ridicule me, saying my speeches are about hope and do not stand a chance, but we know what we can change. We know what we will change. There exists no greater truth than hard work can prevail. We have seen what so-called 'corporate friendship' accomplishes. It prevents rational choice. It weakens our resolve. It fills us with bitter rage. These are not accomplishments; they're signs that we need to change.

We are facing a weakened economy, but our leaders are ignoring the issue. They fumble around scripted press conferences and we suffer. "Restore our faith in government," we demand, but our voices have fall on deaf ears. This evening that changes! We come here full of hope. We come here to create unity. I stand here before you, my ears open, my heart pleading. I ask that you join me; join me in this press for progress. Join me in making this country a better place. Join me in making it a place we can be proud of, a place in which pride thrives rather than starves, a place known for humanity and goodwill, a place that pushes the expectations of chivalry. United, we can make this a country in which patriotism means being willing to hold government accountable, upholding our idealism, helping all humanity, and progressing toward a greater future. The America I know grieved over 9/11 and wonders why there is still no monument for our lost loved ones. The America I know dropped everything so we could help one another after Katrina hit, despite that our leaders were all on vacation. The America I know wants us out of Iraq, not in a decade, not in a few years, not when we get around to it. We want out as soon as it is safe for our brave troops. The America I know spoke its mind during the 2006 elections and the voice was loud and unified. We need change. If we stay the course, our money will be worth less than the paper it is printed on, our international reputation will die, and we will run the country right into bankruptcy.

I've been accused of being lucky for my ethnicity. The people gathered here today know the truth. It does not take a white person or a black person to bring change. Nor does it take a man or a woman, a Christan or a Muslim. It doesn't even take an American. It takes a unified nation that can agree on deep and fundamental ideals; our concepts of right and wrong must guide us whether they come from our religions, our science, or our fellow citizens. It will take an America that not only agrees political divisiveness weakens our unity, but an America that does something about it.

My opponents question my resolve. They ask if we can really accomplish all this. I tell them, "Yes, we can!" Thank you, America.
