I painted this straight through in one day with only a break for food. It is supposed to be an angel falling with her wings folding as she does, but it can be interpreted in many different ways. Why is she falling? That's for you to decide.

I made the angel too small and exagerated the shading a bit too much. Her hair could have used more detail. The background also looks nothing like I wanted it to (oil would have been a better choice), but overall it turned out pretty well. I'd like to do something similar in the future with a much larger figure.
