This is a painting based on a photograph I took of my car in front of the Education Center at Shaw AFB, SC. Since the focus was on the car, I simplified everything else.
I'm rather dissatisfied with my camera and my scanner. After several attempts with each of them, I was unable to obtain a high quality picture of the painting. The background does not go to the edge of the canvas, but is rather haphazardly ended at various brush strokes. Fortunately, I am pleased with how well the car developed, but I over-simplified the background.
