One day I was having a tough time deciding what to paint. I was talking to my buddy, Nick, online and he jokingly said I should paint him... so I used the most recent picture I had of him as the base. He is eating a burrito on some steps after we had been driving around.

So far, this is the best I have done with a face, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the rest of it. His arms are a bit small and his torso is a bit big. I had a really tough time getting the perspective correct and I think the end result is a blend of half correct and half awkward. The shoes are quite good, because I actually spent a lot of time on them. For whatever reason, I found them intriguing to paint. They were certainly more interesting than jeans.
