This photo is from an uninhabited island in South Carolina called Otter Island. The water at the front of the photo is actually a "lake" (trapped ocean water) and it reflects the changing colors nicely. I found that the sunsets and rises there were significantly less vibrant than in the Pacific Northwest, perhaps due to the humidity, but I still enjoyed them.
