Mt. Rainier is over 14,000 feet high and a beautiful site. It can be seen from most places in the state, and even from some in states beyond. When you live in Washington, you become used to seeing the mountain, but it is always amazing when you come back from a trip elsewhere and see the mountain again. It can make many other places seem rather flat.
